What Mend collects and what stays private.
Last updated: May 24, 2026.
Short version
Your worksheet answers stay in your browser on your device. Mend does not receive, read, review, or store your private worksheet entries.
If you join the Mend list, we collect your email address so we can keep a waitlist or send future worksheet/product updates. We are not currently using an email provider to send updates.
Information we collect
We may collect your email address if you choose to submit it through a Mend signup form.
We may collect non-sensitive usage events, such as worksheet opened, recap reached, local save clicked, recap copied, email signup attempted, or feedback clicked.
Information we do not collect
We do not collect worksheet answers, trigger details, trauma details, diagnosis information, body sensations, intensity scores, private journal entries, crisis details, or support names through the worksheet.
How information is stored
Worksheet entries are stored locally in your browser if you use the save features. Mend cannot access those entries.
Email addresses and non-sensitive event counts may be stored in Cloudflare D1. Cloudflare hosts the Mend site and provides infrastructure for pages, functions, and database storage.
How information is used
Email addresses may be used for Mend worksheet updates, beta product notes, and future product access. Usage counts help us decide whether the worksheet is useful enough to keep improving.
Limits
Mend resources are educational self-support tools. They are not therapy, diagnosis, treatment, crisis support, or a replacement for professional care.
Please do not submit crisis details, trauma details, worksheet answers, or private mental health information through feedback or email forms.
Contact
For privacy questions or removal requests, use the Mend feedback route and do not include private worksheet content.
